We thought that brands that cared about customer experience AND the planet, didn't have many options. So we made this custom insert from a stunning, sustainable material that customers will remember.

Nest Packaging is made from biobased and biodegradable materials.
Upcycled Jute Fabric
Jute is one of the most sustainable natural fibres. We use waste fabric sacks from the coffee industry that would otherwise take up bin space.
Biobased Resin
We use a biobased resin thats used to add strength and structure to the natural fibre. Its made from natural ingredients and is completely home compostable.
How is Nest Made?
First we create a model of your product and box. The prototype molds are 3d printed to make it quick and easy to perfect the fit. Once we're happy we make the final mold from CNC aluminium. We can then use these molds to prepare your Nest Packaging!
We don't have MOQs, but we do charge an upfront mold fee. This is a one time cost and then the mold is yours for life. After that, unit price is set.
The mold cost depends on how you box interior is, so it can vary a lot. We've found the average cost to be around $600 but again this number can be a lot bigger or smaller.
The unit price depends on quanity and size. Typical unit costs vary for $0.5 - $2 per unit.

Biodegradable Resin
Nest is a custom box insert. Something that molds around your product keeping it protected and nicely displayed in your box.
It’s made from recycled jute fiber bags and a biobased resin. Both are completely biobased, home compostable and sustainable!
Yup! Not only do we upcycle waste, Nest is home compostable. This means that you can just throw it in your garden and it'll break down to nothing naturally.
Other 'sustainable' bioplastic packaging is in reality only degradable in specific and expensive industrial conditions. Our way is a lot better for the planet!
It depends. I know what you're thinking, so annoying, why cant they just have a price? Since our packaging is custom, the pricing depends on a few things. But, let's give you a better idea of what influences price and a rough ballpark.
Mold Cost

- Cost is driven almost entirely by the size of your box interior.
- On average, expect to pay around $600, though this can vary significantly based on dimensions.
Unit Price
- The cost for each individual item you order.
- Influenced by both order quantity and the size of each unit.
- Typically falls between $0.50 and $2.00 per unit.
